Data Protection Notice
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This notice explains how Charge Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“the Company”) processes personal data under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Charge Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
- Address: Aydınlı – Birlik OSB, 7. Sokak No: 6, 34953 Tuzla / İstanbul
- Phone: +90 216 441 0580
- Email: [email protected]
2. Which data, and why
The website collects data only when you send it through a form, an email or a phone call. The forms are contact, partnership, project request and the newsletter signup in the footer.
- Contact, partnership and project forms: name, company, email, phone and the details you write, so we can answer the request. Partnership and project forms also ask for location, business and project information.
- Project form: an optional PDF, JPG or PNG file up to 3 MB.
- Newsletter: email address, and only if you tick the commercial-message box.
- Hosting logs: IP address and technical request data needed to operate and secure the site.
3. Legal basis
- Answering a quote, partnership or project request: KVKK Art. 5/2-c, where the steps are necessary before a contract you asked for.
- If a contract, invoice or legal dispute follows: KVKK Art. 5/2-c and Art. 5/2-e, and the applicable retention duties.
- Site security and hosting logs: KVKK Art. 5/2-f.
- Newsletter and other commercial electronic messages: your consent under Law No. 6563. Sending a contact form is not that consent. The form acknowledgement only confirms that you have read this notice.
4. Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data. Messages are emailed to [email protected]. Hosting, email delivery and form processing may involve service providers, including providers outside Turkey. A cross-border transfer is made only when KVKK Art. 9 is satisfied. We share data with public authorities when the law requires it.
5. Retention
Request records are kept while the conversation is active and then for the period needed for a possible contract, invoice or dispute. Newsletter addresses are kept until you withdraw consent or the send purpose ends. Hosting logs follow the provider’s operational retention. Data is deleted or anonymised when the purpose ends, unless a longer legal duty applies.
6. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)
- Learn whether your data is processed and request information if it is
- Learn the purpose and whether the data is used for that purpose
- Know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, to whom data is transferred
- Ask for correction, and for erasure or destruction under Art. 7
- Ask that those actions be notified to third parties
- Object to a result that is produced solely by automated analysis and is against you
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing
7. How to apply
Email [email protected] or send a signed petition to the address above. We respond within 30 days. If the request is rejected, the answer is insufficient, or we do not answer in time, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board under Art. 14 within 30 days of learning the answer and, in any case, within 60 days of the application.
